Last updated: 1 October 2026
Omega Talent (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2022/447877/07), trading as Omega Talent (“Omega Talent”, “we”, “us”), respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) and, where applicable, the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who is responsible
Omega Talent is the responsible party for personal information processed through this website. Our Information Officer is Dino Nair, who can be contacted by email or at 20 Chestnut Ridge Circle, Royal Ascot, Cape Town 7441, South Africa.
2. Information we collect
- Enquiry details you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp — your name, email address, phone number, company and the content of your message.
- Candidate information you choose to share with us when exploring opportunities, such as your CV, work history, qualifications, salary expectations and references.
- Technical information such as your IP address, which our hosting provider records in standard server logs for security purposes.
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. A single item is stored in your browser only to remember whether you chose the light or dark theme.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and provide recruitment services you request.
- To match candidates with suitable opportunities and introduce shortlisted candidates to clients — only with the candidate's knowledge.
- To carry out verification checks (such as qualification, ITC and criminal checks) where appropriate, and only with the candidate's specific consent.
- To keep our website secure.
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
4. Legal basis
We process personal information with your consent, to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement, to perform an agreement with you, to comply with the law, or where it is in our legitimate interest to run and protect our business — always in a way that is adequate, relevant and not excessive.
5. Sharing your information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with prospective employers or clients as part of a recruitment process you are participating in, with trusted service providers who help us operate (for example email and website hosting) under appropriate confidentiality obligations, or where the law requires it.
6. International transfers
Because we recruit across South Africa, the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States and Canada, your information may be shared with clients outside South Africa. We only do so where the recipient is subject to adequate data-protection laws or binding agreements, or where you have consented.
7. Security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections on this website. We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, after which it is securely deleted.
8. Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to its processing, or withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).
9. Third-party links
Our website links to third-party services such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn and Facebook. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
